Your complete guide to setting up the TGT Analytics Engine and mastering your trading workflow.

1. The Setup (NinjaTrader 8 Add-on)

Download the Add-on

Download the TGTBridgePro_Installer.zip from your dashboard. Do not extract the ZIP file.

Import to NinjaTrader 8

Open NT8. Go to Tools -> Import -> NinjaScript Add-On. Select the downloaded ZIP file.

Connect the Engine

Go to New -> TGT Analytics Bridge. Paste your unique API Key (found in your Web Dashboard) and click Connect.

2. Core Features

Real-Time Sync (Auto-Discovery)

Once connected, TGT automatically discovers all active accounts in your NT8 workspace (Simulated, Apex, TPT, etc.). Every trade you close is instantly beamed to your web dashboard.

Pro Tip: Ensure your NT8 workspace is connected to your data feed (e.g., Rithmic) before clicking "Connect" on the TGT Bridge.

Compliance Engine

The dashboard acts as your risk manager. It calculates your Daily Loss limit, Survival Cushion (Drawdown), and the critical 30% Consistency Rule dynamically based on your Prop Firm's strict parameters.

Local Copy Trader (PRO Feature)

Execute a trade on your Master account, and TGT will replicate it instantly across your follower accounts. Navigate to Copy Configuration in the sidebar to link accounts.

  • Multiplier: Scale risk. Setting a multiplier of 0.5 means a 2 contract order on the Master will execute as 1 contract on the Follower.
  • Inverse: Automatically take the opposite side of the Master trade (e.g., Master buys, Follower sells).

3. Troubleshooting & FAQs

Error: "Invalid API Key or Unauthorized"

Ensure you copied the entire key without spaces. If your 15-day Trial expired and you haven't upgraded, your key restricts access to live connections.

Issue: Dashboard bars aren't updating immediately

The dashboard recalculates upon page refresh. If a trade closed in NT8, press F5 on your browser. TGT relies on closed execution events (Trade Filled).

Issue: Copy Trader is active but trades aren't copying

Check the NT8 Log (Control Center -> New -> Output). Common reasons: The follower account lacks sufficient margin, or the instrument (e.g., NQ) is not properly mapped in the follower account's data feed.
